How to help
Community Action Napa Valley is a helping hand for thousands of Napa Valley residents. Through our many programs, we provide food, shelter, child development, and help breaking unhealthy habits for people who are struggling.
CANV plays an important role in providing a safety net to the community. But we recognize that we are all in this together and we’re glad we have you as our partner and participant in making Napa Valley even better.
What you can do now:
We hope you will donate your time, effort, abilities, or money to Community Action. Your participation and support is vital to the survival of our programs and essential in our effort to help those in need.
Here are a few other things you can do to help:
- Hold a canned food drive to benefit the Food Bank. Contact the food bank to learn what you need to know or to drop off your donations.
- Gather gently used cloting for men, women and children and bring them to the Napa Shelters. Click here for location and contact information.
- Encourage any smokers in your life to get the help they need to quit. Send them to this website so they can learn more.
- Teach your children about charity by asking them to select some of ther gently used toys to bring to the family shelter.
- Participate in our many events! Check this website frequently to learn about what is happening.
- Read (and contribute) to our Blog.
