Overview

For more than 30 years, the Senior Nutrition Program has provided daily home-delivered and congregate meals to seniors and the frail elderly who cannot prepare meals for themselves. More than a meal, the socialization, daily contact, caring volunteers, and professional case management we provide enable seniors to continue living in their own homes independently.

Meals on Wheels for Seniors

For those seniors who can’t get out, but still want to live independently, our Meals on Wheels drivers will bring you a nutritious meal and some lively conversation. We’ll check up on you, make sure you’re doing well, and help you get the food you need to continue living a healthy life. Our drivers work with Senior Assistance, Friendly Visitor, home health agencies, and your immediate family to make sure you’re getting the help and support you need.

Meals on Wheels for Others

Seniors aren’t the only ones who need a nutritious meal at home. If you’re disabled, our Meals on Wheels program can help you too. Our drivers will check up on you and make sure you’re doing well, while delivering the healthy meals you need. We also work with your immediate family, Friendly Visitor, and other home health agencies to make sure you’re getting what you need to live independently.

Congregate Meals

Every day at one of our centers throughout the county, we provide a warm and friendly place to meet and eat together. You not only get a nutritious and balanced meal, you get great conversation and the opportunity to build new friendships. Newcomers are always welcome, and our hostesses will make sure that your first visit to a Congregate Meals event is an enjoyable one. You can join us at the Napa Senior Center; or at locations in St. Helena; Calistoga; and American Canyon, where we hold our monthly Bingo game before dinner.
