On August 7, 2023, CANV celebrated Senior Appreciation Day. CANV enjoyed providing produce bags, toiletry goodies, puzzles, blankets, and emergency preparedness tips from the Calistoga Fire Dept and Napa Police Department. This event was a collaboration of corporate giving from Cheniere Energy, Rancho de Calistoga, and Community Action of Napa Valley. We served over 60 seniors a free brunch catered by the local The Q Restaurant & Bar. World Senior Citizen’s Day is August 21st so take a few minutes out of your day and thank those who represent such a thoughtful, experienced, and motivating generation who are always there for us and to guide us
